I kind of like the idea of world war Z the
book being about interview. The interview
is going to write a book based on the experience certain people with through. In
this book the Interviewer believes it's his duty to get this information from
those who lived though it while they remain un-dead and not, you know, undead. One
of my favorite interview in the book was about Stanley
MacDonald, previously of the Third Battalion of Princess Patricia's Canadian
Light Infantry which is a highly rank soldier. I like this interview because it
brought suspense to the reader, when they found the cave entrance as expected, but everything
else was well beyond expectations: no bodies except the pack mules, plenty of
blood, and all the cargo left undisturbed. And no one leaves fifty kilos of
uncut opium just lying around without a really good reason. Another part that I
like about this interview is when MacDonald shot the zombie in the head and his
brains went through his chin.
