Unit 1 Post Write

My summary and rhetorical analysis essay was about the rise of the zombie genre and their impact on society. Zombies are slowly becoming teaching tools for the modern world. The government and big businesses are using the character to promote themselves. The primary question that is being answered throughout my summary is "How much are zombies affecting society and our everyday lives?" I think the rhetorical analysis aspect of the essay was the hardest part for me because I totally forgot to do it in my rough draft. I added it into my final draft, but I feel like I could do a lot better now after writing while using rhetorical analysis. It is important to know how to write a summary because as college students we are going to have to perfect the art of summarizing for future classes and occupations. I understood how to write this essay after reading through the rough drafts and receiving feed back on my paper. The best feedback I received was to use different transitional words and to also make my introduction and my conclusion match each other. I think one of the strengths in my paper was summarizing, even though it was a little random and all over the place, I think I managed to summarize the article pretty well. I think I can improve on just my writing in general, I haven't written in awhile and I need to get back in the swing of things. I think you can help me by telling me what aspects of my paper weren't done correctly or the way you wanted them to be done.
