Vampires & Zombie

Angela Tenga of Florida Institute of Technology, she wrote an article called Vampire Gentlemen and Zombies Beast. This article talks about the comparison between vampires and zombies. Zombies and vampires have become the favorite monsters of the 21st century. These two monsters have evolved through out the years. One of the paragraphs talk about how vampires used to be the "it" monster and were viewed as evil and cruel immortals. They are known to live in luxurious lifestyle. For an example, one of the folklore story of Dracula was the monster who drank human blood. In today's society, culture has taken vampires into a whole new level with fan fiction and romance. The famous author, Stephenie Meyer who is the creator of the Twilight saga. Her stories are about the vampire fantasy and romance novels. Theses novels gained fame and it was made into several movies. It grabbed a lot of the audience attention and it gave a different perspective on vampires. Vampires are shown as  youthful, intelligent, and handsome. Zombies are still viewed as nonhuman blood thirsty, brainless, creatures. These creatures are seen as threatening and are attracted to human flesh. In today's culture, zombies are a popular trend such as movies, T.V. shows, and video games. For an example, The Walking Dead is a popular show on AMC. This show is an American zombie, drama. This story takes place in the zombie apocalypse and a lot of survivors. The audience will see how a group of survivors survived and interacted with other survivors or other threats. The survivors will do anything to stay alive and work as a team. Since zombie is the new favorite monster nowadays, their appearance are still the same and it hasn't change. These monster had developed over the decades and became a different view to the world.
