Post Write 1
1) My essay was about the
influence of zombies on modern day culture. I discussed the positive
implications of having a zombie platform overflowing onto society issues as
well as the negative consequences. The primary question explored in my essay
was where one draws the line between too much influence from the zombie
platform which causes misconceptions, and when the platform is effective.
2) I think the part of the
analysis that was difficult was how to explain certain quotes I used
effectively. I think I could explain them in a way that made sense to me but I
had trouble communicating my thoughts to the reader.
3) It is important to
summarize an article as it helps us find the main points of an article. By
finding the main points in a concise manor, one can analyze the work much
easier. In the future, we will read a lot of articles and having the skill to
be able to easily summarize will help us complete assignments faster and will help
our essays be more thorough.
4) I knew how to write this
essay after the first rhetorical analysis lecture. Although my first draft
lacked a few items, I knew what was expected.
5) I think the best feedback
I got was to include my conclusion and a paragraph designated to explain the
purpose, audience and genre. I had forgotten to include those in my first draft
so it was a nice reminder. Without that feedback I may have completely
forgotten about it.
6) I think one strength in
my paper is my summary. I think it was balanced and concise and included all of
the main points of the essay.
7) I think I could have
improved my analysis portion. I feel as though I have all of the necessary
parts for my analysis but I think I could have explained some things better. I
should have explained the quotes a little better in the logos section.
8) I am not as satisfied as
I could be with the logos analysis section. I think parts of it are solid but I
had trouble explaining the quotes enough. It makes sense to me in my head but I
have trouble communicating what my thoughts are with the reader maybe.
