Chapter 9: Good Byes

I chose the chapter Good Byes. In this chapter the first interview took place in Vermont. They are talking about a man named Clement Attlee, who was a man that said they beat the zombies. The goal was to get people to pitch in and end up doing the job they were supposed to do. The next interview took place in Lake Baikal and it was about how Maria is pregnant and Russia got a new czar who made Russia strong again. The next interview was in Barbados and that was about a man named Sean who was addicted to killing and he didn't know how to stop his habit then another interview took place in Montana and it was about how Mary Jo believed that it was the peoples fault that this whole mess happened, she said that we need to blame ourselves. The next interview took place in China and it was about how the children look okay now since there's no zombies and how life is without them anymore then the next interview in Washington was about a man named Joe and he believed the zombie war was a good thing because it brought everyone closer together. In the New Mexico interview, its all about the finances and the money police, then in Japan they talk about how they want to get to the middle ground between Kondo's belief and Tomonaga's belief. Then in Ireland, Phillip talks about how they lost more than just people when we left them for the dead, after that in Israel the interview with Jurgen, he believes that there is no survivors from World War Z because even though people lived, they are still damaged. The last two interviews took place with Tracy Bowden and in Denver, Colorado. The interview with Tracy was about Whales and how they were so close from coming back from extinction then in Denver the interview was about how Wainio is still kind of traumatized and how he doesn't really celebrate even though the zombie war is over.

This chapter is important because it talks about how people reacted after the zombie war is over. You get to see the point of view of many people and see how they're feeling after the war. I chose this chapter because I wanted to see if people were still traumatized after the war or were people going to go back to their normal lives. I liked this chapter because I got to see how people felt after the war was over. This topic introduces survival and the aftermath of the zombie war. We can discuss the feelings people had after the war and how people changed after the war.
